This was my first book and it still has a special place in my heart! It is rather dated now in places – for example, quite a lot has happened in the main line with 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nf3 Nf6 4.Nc3 dxc4 5.a4 Bf5 6.Ne5 in the past 20 years – but I am still happy with the explanations I wrote about Slav move orders and the typical positions that arise after the older 6.e3.
